The Point of View Telescope provides the most durable, reliable, and high-quality viewing experience available to the public.  Our scopes are easy to own, install, maintain, and repair.  Very little service is required as our scopes perform in all weather conditions.  The head is available in customizable colors and POV’s sleek modern design blends into any environment.  Inside the telescope, our all-electronic design provides superior reliability.  There are no springs to rust or moving parts that fail.  The 3 major elements are a rechargeable battery, a printed circuit board and a coin acceptor, all of which are easily replaceable.

To weatherproof the system, the head is custom cast from marine-grade, corrosion resistant aluminum, then hard anodized and powder coat painted.  The head is constructed with multiple O-rings and are purged with a dry gas to control condensation caused by temperature variation.  For this reason, there is always a clear view through a POV telescope regardless of the weather condition.  

Once it’s installed at a location, our design remains secure and tamper-proof against vandalism or theft. The coins are designed to fall into the base of the telescope where they are secure, out of sight, and inaccessible to vandals.

Another unique benefit is the 20X power optical system that provides sufficient eye relief.  Visitors are able to wear their eyeglasses comfortably while using the telescope.
